My top albums of 2011
When it comes to the “Top albums of 2011” lists, I have no idea who some of the bands are. Of the ones I do know, I don’t understand why they made the list. At first I thought my tastes had just changed or maybe I just let go of my pretentiousness and listened to what I wanted. (Whatever … I always listen to what I want.)
The real reason is: I’m old.

Reading magazines on the iPad is an exercise in frustration. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. As great a device and, more importantly, platform as Apple has created, magazine publishers have done nothing short of fumble the snap in their own end zone.
Scathing and totally true. Magazine publishers need to get with the program.
