Videos like this one don’t bother me too much. What bothers me is that this type of thing gets so much press coverage. It wasn’t long ago that our president was being compared to a slew of similar things:
- MoveOn.org ad that compared Bush to Hitler
- Signs accusing Bush of being both a “fascist” and a “racist”
- “Protest = Patriotic” signs (not the case now, I guess.)
- Signs referring to Bush as a “terrorist”
- “9/11 = Inside Job”
- “G.W. Bush is the AntiChrist”
- Protesters calling America under Bush an “evil empire”
The media didn’t blink an eyelash at the liberal crazies. Now, compare Obama to Hitler a you get an herd of journalists filming the conservative crazies.

My real complaint is with the media, however. After years of ignoring the prevalence of violent sentiments at “peace” protests, the media has picked up the Democrats’ talking points that the town hall protesters are dangerous lunatics.
Memories are short, I guess.
